The knobs are infinite so I'm confused why this is happening. In Ableton I can switch the takeover mode to pickup and that is mostly ok, but isn't that great. I also tried to map some parameters to a knob on a different pad, but I get the same jumps generally. Am I missing something or is this just what happens? I have played around with the different knob options (absolute, relative #1, etc) but none of that helps. I would expect this same behavior in the vst in Live but the parameter values will jump to wherever the knob thinks it is (I think that is what is happening). In the standalone version, the knobs will pickup wherever the parameter value is even if I just opened a new preset. The mk2 works great in the standalone Analog Lab 4, but when I try it as a vst in Live the knob values jump around. I just got the Minilab MK2 and am trying to use it in Ableton Live but the knobs act really strangely. The lack of aftertouch sensors on the cheaper Minilab series is probably why the Keystep key feel is a bit more luxurious.Hey, so I have a few questions. The Arturia Keystep, in my opinion, has even better key feel. it's beyond distracting and takes some time to learn to ignore. The octave +/- buttons are way too bright AND they flash whenever you're transposed up or down at least an octave. If you just strike them with a quick release, like a drum, they are perfect 100% of the time. Great key feel with quiet mechanical actionįeels greater than the sum of its parts and is a joy to playĭrum pads feel great, but occasionally, they will give you a stuttering double trigger if you strike and hold a pad while applying progressively more pressure.
